This is the fourth post in my Holiday Party Planning series. In the first post, I discussed how to create a Hostess Journal and in the second & third posts I showed some great places to get your basic Dinnerware and Serving Pieces and Glassware and Flatware. All you need now is the stuff that fancies up your table and makes your entertaining both beautiful and functional!  We will start with Linens today.

Linens
First up on our list are some fantastic linens. Linens are a great way for you to add the pop of color on the cheap and to create texture and interest on your tablescape.

These gorgeous napkins from Home Decorators Outlet are only $1.99 for a set of four!  I love the black and white of these. There are also matching placemats.
If you just need to stock up on some basic white or ivory napkins, Bed Bath and Beyond offers sets of 12 for $9.99.

You can pair a basic white napkin with a festive napkin ring to create a beautiful look. I actually own these wrapped napkin holders from Bed Bath and Beyond and they can be dressed up with other accents or look great on their own. A set of 12 is also just $9.99.

If you want more color, check out these great Napkin Sets from World Market. You can pick a set of six of the colors listed below for $9.99.

They also offer these bright Round Braided Placements in sets of 4 for $15.96.

If you like a more natural look, World Market has this natural woven runner for $11.88.

They also offer these nice Basketweave Napkin Rings. Sold in a set of 6, these are offered for $11.94.

One thing that has gotten really popular lately has been plaid. World Market offers two sets of four plaid napkins shown below for $9.99 a piece. One set has more blues and the other more reds.

Finally, I did want to show off this very festive Holiday Felt Runner. While it is only $24.99, this is the kinda thing that I will admire in the store or online and then head to the fabric store to see if it can be duplicated.

What about you? Have any great sources for linens? Made any runners recently? I would love to see what you have to share!

I look for linens mostly when I'm at Home Goods {or Marshalls or TJ Maxx}. Sometimes Pier 1 if there is a sale. Love the ones from the Home Decorators Outlet ~ that's a great price.

Thanks for all the ideas and places to buy. Every year I end up borrowing napkins for our Christmas tea at church but I see it is pretty inexpensive to just buy some for myself..Thanks.
