I am still working on my "blue pillows" from earlier this week.  (I ran out of Stichwitchery so we are currently on hold for a final reveal!)  In the meantime - I thought I would share with you some of the pictures that lead me to my decision for blue pillows.  Both my chair and my couch are a beigey-gold color.  Now I could have gone with several different colors - but I think you will agree after you see these pics that there was only one decision!

Love the fabric on these pillows and I love the drapes.

Signature Properties Model Home II traditional bedroom

These were some of my first inspirations for doing blue pillows in a bunch of different patterns.

Embroidered Linen Pillows eclectic

Blue even looks great with orangey browns! I adore the leaf prints on these pillows!

Sanctuary Design modern living room

Love the deep blue in this pillow! Adds such a pop in an otherwise neutral room!

The deep blues and greens really stand out in this room!

Shoshana contemporary living room

Or blue and yellow! I love how vibrant these pillows are - and they were from Target!

regenerative nest modern living room

Such a bright and cheery kitchen! Who says blue has to be moody!

San Carlos Residence Two contemporary dining room

Love all the textures here! This was one of my main inspirations for my room.

Zuniga Interiors traditional living room

Ok - take away the mind blowing ceiling height and the gorgeous drapes and this couch still stands on its own!

color combos - blue

So what do you think? Which one is your favorite? Do you have blue accents anywhere in your home?

Me ? Use blue in my house ? Oh my word, somebody stop me ! It's funny, I did all blue when I got married 10 years ago, said goodby about 6 years ago, and here I am having another love affair with blue. Who can argue with the color of sky and sea ?

I love blue and always have. We own two blue couches and a whole truckload of blue and white dishes. The blue and gold pillow on the chair in the bedroom picture you showed is my favorite; it's very luxurious.

Hello, I'm not really sure how I got here, but here I am! I'm working on a blue and yellow kitchen with a subtle bee theme. The colors are probably most like the fourth pic from the top, and I love it more and more every day! This is such a fun blog!

My kitchen is pale green with dark blue accesssories. All dishes mismatched blue & white.

My bedroom too, blue & white with a touch of bright sea green.

Screen porch blue & white cushions on old furniture painted white.

Bathroom very beachy theme painted aqua.

Blue & white goes with everything!

I don't think I could choose just one. I LOVE those pillows in the first pic, and that blue table in the kitchen, perfect!

I do have blue almost everywhere. I think my daughter's room is the only room in the house that doesn't have some blue in it. It's completely pink and cream.

I think I like the dining room~that table is the best color of all time!
