I had a crazy week at work last week and the one thing I wanted to do over the weekend was sleep in on Saturday morning. So when I found myself wide awake at 5:45am Saturday morning, I was mildly disappointed. However, I considered it a sign that I was supposed to go out garage sale hunting and off I went at around 7am. I did well too! Check out what I found for a mere $7.50 total!

First stop - I almost walked away with a small table that could have been converted with to a bench. But the leg had almost been completely chewed thru - so I skipped that and picked up a mirror for $1. I think this will look lovely with a little spray paint and some Rub-n-Buff!

Next, I found these cute round frames.  I thought it was odd that both set had the same print in them but either way those will be gone and I have some adorable ideas I am tossing around for these!  I got all 4 for $2.

At my next stop, I found these two mirrored wall panels for $1.  I think I might refinish them and take the mirrored portion out - but the jury is still out on that.

Finally, I drove by a sign for a "Massive" Yard Sale & Craft Show - which totally perked me up!  Turns out it was to benefit our local no-kill Animal Shelter.  I love thrifting for a good cause and came away with these two treasures.  First - I found this little finial for $1.50.  I love it!

Then I found this cute welcome sign for $2.  It is a ceramic of some sort and I can't wait to finish it and hang it on the door.

I want to do it in a color that will go well with the brick on our exterior - shown above.  The door is white.   I am leaning towards a cool blue gray color or perhaps a navy.   What are your thoughts on what color will go best??  Did you find any thrifty treasures this weekend?

Great finds! I actually don't think the red/rust color looks bad with your brick but the navy would look good too. It would pop off your door more than the blue gray in my opinion.

Great things you found with awesome prices! I think Navy would look the best on the sign!

love that first mirror...it looks so tall. that pineapple sign is super cute...you could do a two toned paint job, with the welcome sign a different color.

Wow, you found a lot of pretty items. I really like those two mirrors. From what I can see with the brick, blue sounds like a good choice for your welcome sign.

I think it would be cute to spell out a word and put one letter in each of the frames. "LOVE" or "HOME" would work or the initials of family members (I have 4 in out family, how about you?)

Really like the two matching mirrors. Great finds.

Nice finds, Jess! I think the blue-gray color would be good for your sign. Thanks for joining the party!
