I am finally getting my spring mantel up!  I figured it was about time for me to switch it over since I haven’t really changed it up since January!  Here was my winter mantel – which I really liked so I was ok with leaving it up for awhile!  If you remember – my mantel is actually a shelf for the hubby’s center channel.  I just claim all the space on either side and call it a mantel!

But it was time for something new – are you ready to see my mantle for spring?  Well here it is!

Spring Mantel - 3

It makes me happy!  It is just a little bit brighter than my winter version.  That and more natural light really helps with pictures!  :)

Spring Mantel - 2

So let’s break this down shall we – on the left I have an adorable little bird metal tote that I just got 50% off at Hobby Lobby.  Isn’t it cute?  Next to it I have my garage sale finial from last year – I got that lil cutie for a $1.50 and painted him bright blue!  Then in the front – I have a little amethyst bowl I got from my grandmother with a few faux daisies in it!

Spring Mantel 6

Then on the right – I have a tall orange and turquoise hurricane that my momma got me!  Next to that I have a little distressed basket with my favorite rustic woven balls in it.  Finally in front – I have one of my little treasures – a blue Mason Jar with a zinc lid!  That is another keepsake I got from my grandmother!

Spring Mantel - 9

So there you go!  I have a few more shots I want to share!

Spring Mantel - 2

I love the way it came out!  I have been adding a couple other spring touches around the house and I am hoping to share some of those with you a little later!  So what about you – do you have anything springy going on at your house right now?

Love it. It looks wonderful and it is so nice to have a little change once in a while. The white elements tie in so well with the side of the TV displays. It all looks fantastic. Hugs, Marty

Great change! Love the blue mason jar. I am already getting ready for summer here in AZ! 88 degrees by Friday!

I have a faux mantel, too.

(Ignore that fact that it's an Etsy link...it's a pic of my "Winter mantle.")

I sooo need to update for Spring. I love your blue Ball jar with the zinc lid. I have one, too so that will prolly go up. And, I have a cranberry glass bud vase which will likely appear.

We could use some color.
I was just saying last night how we've managed to make a completely beige living room. (Well, not completely, but we had just spent the day outside looking at daffodils and crocuses - crocii? - and all the beige inside just felt so DRAB!

Thanks for the inspiration!

Looks good! Up until today if I'd read this post, I would have said "spring? is she crazy?" But today, I'm happy to report, spring finally arrived in New York. Now I can appreciate your lovely display without tears of jealousy :)
