Sigh. Love them all! Mason jars are fantastic and I have yet to find some great vintage blue ones with the zinc lids at a reasonable price. But once I do you can bet they'll be lining my craft room shelves! Thanks for the shout out friend!
ReplyDeleteYes! Love this! I use Mason jars! My favorite uses: at Christmas, I fill with fake cranberries and top with candles, and for my 4th of July BBQ, I set one at each table, stuck a bandana and silverware in it, and then the guests used the mason jar to drink out of!

I use gallon glass jars for cannisters. I am planning on etching the name of each thing on the jars, just haven't gotten to it yet. I also use other sizes to store odds and ends in, as in macaronni or beans or such as that. I would love to have more gallon jars, but my FIL died and we don't buy gallon jars of anything anymore.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite Mason jar use: once a month you will see one on the back of my toilet filled with tampons. My bathroom is an odd shape and there's no convenient storage by the toilet. To me, it's a quick and easy way to always have them available. (And it prevents the conversation with the Mr. on "what time of the month" it is and "if it's over or not".)
