Ever since I worked on my black and white shelf this weekend, I have had black and white on the brain... enjoy what I have found!
Love the built-ins, art, and the fabric prints in this room. And is it just me or are the built-ins painted in a gradient.

This tile is amazing. The walls and the floors have so many different shapes but it all works so well!

This wallpaper is fantastic! And can we all just take a moment to really appreciate the molding? Heaven!!

Love the stripes! And aren't the shades on those lamps adorable. Hmmm, a little trim and some stichwitchery and those could be easy DIY projects!

I just love these rooms. So what about you? Are you into black and white or are you an all out color fanatic?

Linking this up to Melissa's Inspired By Party! Come over and join the fun!
I've also recently become enamored with black and white (did a inspiration post about it too). It can be so dramatic, or whimsical, crisp and modern or casual. I love some of the photos you found.

I like black and white with accents of other colors. I'm not a fan of all white.
ReplyDeleteI love B&W! I love it mostly with pops of color...orange and turquoise being my fave! Great rooms!
ReplyDeleteGreat inspirational pics, Jess. I think that I am now a huge fan of black and white!
ReplyDeleteThe first pic is my favourite. The black and white looks lovely but I would always choose blue and yellow.

I never thought I'd like black and white, but these are just scrumptious!
ReplyDeleteGood eye on the built-ins. They do like they have a gradient paint.
You found some wonderful examples. Does this mean you're doing a room in B&W?
ReplyDeleteI do love the pics you posted but I think some of them needed an addition of color here and there. I've been wanting to do a black and white bedroom but can't over my hate of white furniture, reminds me of what I had in high school LOL

Lovely! Growing up I went through a red, white, & black phase. Now I'm more into earth tones with a worldly accent kind of flair (if that makes sense). I love to surround myself with items from around the world. Places like the Middle East, Central Asia, and North Africa.
ReplyDeleteSITS visiting & blog following. Peace. :)
Hello Jess~i love black and white with a splash of pastel. B&W toile is my fav, although I've come to love toile in various colors.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to be on the look out for a shelf like yours. The B&W transformation was incredible.
You are one creative powerhouse. I had no idea you were going to build the lattice planter box from scratch. I thought it was an Ikea type of assemblage. I truly admire your ambition.
Sweet wishes,
Sara
