How do you know you are a home blogger?  You spend more time on a weekend after you just moved in on projects you couldn't get out of your head rather than unpacking boxes!

I was walking through Hobby Lobby the other day and spied a really cute cork board.  Actually I saw a couple - they were all screen printed with these really adorable patterns.  And it got me thinking that I could probably pull something off for a lot less since I picked up this cute frame on sale there a couple weeks ago for $5.  Here it is all touched up and gorgeous!

So I grabbed a piece of foam board on sale for a $1.99 and then used some cork from a roll that I had from another project.

I then cut to size and glued together with a hot glue gun. Finally - I took a stencil and sponge brush and dabbed some paint on. (Note - you may want to clean your stencil in between applications so you don't end up with smudges!)

Voila - finished project!

$5.99 for the frame and $1.99 for the foam board.  Now if I could only find the box with the picture hanging stuff in it!  Oh well - I will hang it another day!  Have you ever customized a cork board?

I'm pretty sure I saw those same cork boards at HobLob and thought the same thing :) And weren't they selling for like $40? I did what you did and went home and made my own. Yours turned out beautiful! I love the motif you chose.

This is looking so good. And it's very easy to make. Everyone of us can make it. I will give it a try and this one will look beautiful on my stair wall. Now it's time to avail https://www.vfixphonesandtech.com/ for more information.

I appreciate you creating such a useful post. The intricacy of the subject matter was made simple to understand by the depth of knowledge and the precision of the explanations.
