You know – I have been looking at word art projects (also called typography) over the last couple days to try to get some ideas for wall art for the nursery. And I kept finding so much great stuff that I had to stop and do a collection of ideas for you guys. Now you may think typography projects are limited to simply projects that you print out and hang on the wall? You would be wrong! Let me show you some of the great ways you can use typography and words to spice up your home!
DIY Scrabble Wall Art
I love this idea. Now I have seen where people have used leftover scrabble tiles to make some really cute stuff – but this is brilliant. Carrie @ Seeker of Happiness came up with this and if you think she stenciled these, you would be wrong. You have to hop over and check out how she did these!

Make Typography Spheres
I want these! Holly @ Homebody made these after seeing some used as a display at Pottery Barn. She used Ping Pong Balls and rub on letters to make these. I want a bunch of these to put on display on my mantel!

Decorate a Table
Isn’t this beautiful? This amazing table was created by Michael @ Inspired by Charm. He owns the most adorable Bed and Breakfast in PA. Seriously – I could sit and click through his blog for hours!

Add Words to a Dresser
Ok – how cute is this! Lenore @ Lather, Write. Repeat. does some amazing furniture transformations and this was one of them. I love the little knobs that say “pull” and “open”. So cute!

Decorate a Cork Board
Isn’t this amazing? I love this cork board by Jo @ The Creative Collage. The different shapes and sizes of the numbers is perfect!

Create some whimsical Script Names
These are just so cool. You have to check out the tutorial that Ann Marie @ White House Black Shutters has done. I love the light look these provide. Adorable!

Make a Beautiful Pillow
I love this diamond pattern with the Welcome “sign” that Jenn @ Redberry Barn made. Would you believe she traced out the diamond pattern with a sharpie? Brilliant!

Create a Beautiful Clock
I have a need for a clock in my master bath (I am always running late for work) but haven’t been able to find anything I liked. But this idea I love! This beauty was by Charlie @ Attempting Aloha.
